Clinical Research Assistant Position Number: 00059787 | Location: Chapel Hill, NC Position Details Department: Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center Career Area: Research Professionals Position Type: Permanent Staff (SHRA) Opening Date: 12/01/2025 Application Deadline: 12/15/2025 Salary: $40,865 - $52,000 Preferred Work Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Position Summary The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for oversight of archival laboratory samples for TPF business partners and clinical research trials; including knowledge of trial-specific requirements, interactions with vendors, sample acquisition, processing and shipping, and maintaining supplies. The Clinical Research Assistant is also responsible for support of live tissue acquisition and specimen distributions. These responsibilities relate to the mission of the UNC LCCC in providing support for translational research partners and the translational research pipeline. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
